Vusaseki is a weekly Xitsonga talk show. Vusaseki is a home away from home emo-tainment television talk show with a comfortable space that inspires all who come there to open their hearts. A facilitated talk show, Vusaseki gives a personal face and attaches heart and emotion to tough socio-cultural discourse through television talk. Vusaseki means BEAUTY in XiTsonga, accordingly, the show aims to bring out the beauty that we are as South Africans despite our social ills. The programme further aims to guide its viewers from the dark to the light while anchoring its content on the pillars of SABC 2 as a channel. Vusaseki is decidedly Pro-African, guided by our country’s Constitution as an overarching structural framework. The show compels South Africans to self-examine and share experiences that remind us that we are inherently beautiful people and that we all possess something positive and beautiful about as individuals and as a nation.
