Black Tax

Newest Episode: Episode 1

Black Tax is a comedy series unlike any other, where we get to see the successful professional black woman Thuli Dlamini, as she grapples with the unsaid aspect of her community that affects most middle-class African people. Thuli has to deal with the unspoken law of payback to the community of people that helped her get to where she is. In the series, she navigates life as a single parent who juggles relationships, career, and the sudden arrival of her family into her modest suburban townhouse.

Mam’Sheila is utterly adored by her three adult sons. They would not tolerate a bad word against her… Unfortunately, their three wives are forced to deal with a lot of stress thanks to their Mamazala. To keep peace in the family, and to keep their marriages afloat, the three daughters-in-law need to stay in their mother-in-law’s good books – an extremely trying task, since Mamazala is not easy to please.

THE REV SABC

In this hilarious, melodic, and inspirational series, there’s never a dull moment in the world of larger-than-life Pastor Richard Hartley. When he isn’t preaching and inspiring his congregation at his Long Island, NY church, he’s dealing with his rambunctious and loving family… all while utilizing his musical skills to make the church’s choir top notch. Having spent years travelling the globe working with incredible choirs and A-list musicians, Richard is now focused on his hometown choir and, with the help of his wife Stacey, trying to get his millennial children, Judea and Jordan, out of the house so that they can build their own dreams.

In the Long Run is a British comedy-drama television series created by Idris Elba. Loosely based on Elba’s childhood, the show is set in the 1980s on the gritty, fictitious Eastbridge Estate in East London. The series follows the Easmon family; Walter (Elba), his wife Agnes (Madeline Appiah) and their 13-year-old British-born son Kobna (Sammy Kamara) who have settled in England after having arrived from Sierra Leone.
