Hi
This keeps bugging me every morning I watch the weather. Could someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE teach Andile how pronounce the word 'interior'! It's not 'inteer'! Please convey to her that someone in her position is a teacher to a whole generation of South Africans.
It's also hard to believe she is a meteorologist when she calls herself a 'metrologist'! Lovely girl, just needs a little direction which seems lacking from the producer. If she slows down a little, she will get through the words easier.
Also, you may want to check the SABC2 signal transmitted by DSTV - every couple of seconds there is a weird noise, perhaps a sync problem.

I need the premier to ellaborate for us about the progress in terms of the logistical hub in Harrismith. It is still gonna happen or what?
The question of the De beer pass versas the N3. We need to know what is the final report pertaining to that. Thank you
Morning Vuyo,I came to realize that in South African Media only news are crime, corruption and politics only, which is detrimental and malady to the young developing minds for which is the foundation of our future. There is a lot happening in research and laboratories ,if academic issues can be prioritised in news, that alone can shift the minds of our youth to wakeup and realize how important is education. This is a point of depature in nation building to make every TV programme be academically related. For an example:If you report about serial killing,we are sure that we are going to hear about same issue spreading across the country.Have a look at rape cases,it seems as if igling mind are waiting to be given what to do next.

Good morning Vuyo
I am Charlie brown from bronville welkom freestate. I just want to say thanks for the houronable members for this oppertunity. I want to emphesize that talk is cheap. Our leaders must please practice what they preach. In most cases are they the causes of deadlocks in good prosesses. Some of them underestimate the inteligence of the voters who voted them in place. After that gathering some of them will go back to their luxurious offices and bloked the ideas from communities who wanted to contribute to solutions but were seeing as threads to them. Ek haal aan wat president JZ in the State of the Nation Address 2013 op 14 Februarie gese het
“ The law must be enforced and it must be seen to be enforced - fairly, effectively and expeditiously. The citizens of our country have a right to expect that their democratic state will exercise its authority in defence of the Constitution that so many struggled so long and hard for. We cannot disappoint this expectation.
The JCPS Cluster has therefore put measures in place at national, provincial and local level to deal with such incidents effectively.
Let me hasten to add that government departments at all levels must work closely with communities and ensure that all concerns are attended to before they escalate. That responsibility remains. We are a caring government.”
Daar is sommige van ons leiers wat van die staatspresident se toesprake jokes maak.

Leanne, Vuyo, Peter. We have so much on the news about groups fighting against Rape , Violence and Abuse of women and children. So why is Generations advocating abuse and violence of women by a) allowing Nuluntu to poison and perhaps kill her mother and allow Sello to continue his vile abuse of slave trade , rape of innocent girls ? What about his using girls as " drug mules ? ". Why mimic in a soapie what is so painful in real life ? Posted @ 11pm 08/ 03/ 13 by Joy

Hi Vuyo,
There's something serious issue the has been avoiding since the 20th of this month. There's a big strike at OR Tambo, we've tried to contact the media nothing yet.
Our company is claiming they just fired 350 workers, the freeway was fully closed today.
I think it would be fare enough we u could speak with Cyril Ramaphosa about this since he's the shareholder at Bidair services.
He just spoke about a R5 000 living wage but the employees from the company he's investing on earns far less from that.
Please please please, send camera men at OR Tambo Charlie gate, you can help.
We're not complaining about the work, we just want our hard work reflect on our pay slips.

Good morning,
About the construction of thr Areyeng bus services in Pretoria, government should take care not to use the major streets for bus lanes. It is caos in Johannesburg Rissic and Harrison street. How about dedicating specific small streets to buses like Eloff in JHB previously. Changing lanes is a mission nd the metals they use for bus lanes are capable of punching tires of smaller vehicles. Please voice this out. Jubilant Kgoadi JHB (jubs2025@yahoo.com)
Hi Vuyo
From the word go, Bidair employees whom are also SATAWU members were aware that the industrial action that they took part on was unprotected/illegal. Even after the company applied for an interdict from Labour court instructing them to come back to work, still they refused. Majority of them were aware that Satawu shopsterwards lied to them with regard to the certificate to embark on industrial action following the company's(Bidair Services's) newly implemented duty rosters but still they turned blind eye and ignorant, and therefore proceeded with the rest on strike.
Hi, Manas and Vuyo,in show talk about donate blood , I have question why we have to pay for the blood when we needed,i have son that need blood every month and I pay a fortune for the blood about 3000 rand a month, but people donate for free is not fair .
I am a member of the silent majority most of the time, but I feel that the judgment of the Appeal Court is completely wrong. As a senario, if I go into a shop with a laoaded gun to rob the place, and a person tries to stop me, am I now not guilty of murder? With the case of the taxi driver who by-passed a line of cars and forced his way between a closed barrier so as not to wait his turn and children are killed, is he not just as guilty as I am with my loaded gun? He was senetenced to 2 years per child killed, now he has been sentanced to less than 10 months per death!! 1/3 remission because the jails are so overcrouded, 1/3 off for 'good' behavior, 1/3 to be served, in other words, 32 months in prission !! What kind of message are the ' judges ' sending to the public ??

Please ask Andile to stop saying rain is bad news!! We don't all live in Gauteng. People in the Free Stateand Northern Cape are dying for some rain!!! The farmers are really suffering!. I believe the weather broadcast is for the whole country not only city dwellers in Gauteng. Except for this she is a lovely girl...
I excited by the new ideas that came from the BRICS 5 Summit, but it still burdens one to think that; how much of all these ideas will actually in reality filter down to the people of these nations; especially in South Africa given our phenomenal track record of corruption, tender fraud, and those involved keeps getting away with some savvy attorney technicalities despite the fact of crime which has taken place. How do plan to grow the world when one can't even sort out its own nations issues. I truly hope the youth sees the vision of BRICS and takes on with much hope because this I can see been a driver to the issue of youth unemployment across all races. So if all the greedy individuals and companies and politicians can keep their hands out of the coffers Africa has a great future to look forward to.
Hi Vuyo, im Lesego Selokela from Kwarriekraal village near Thabazinmbi road of R511, my problem is the government only help the town aroun Johannesburg, what about us. Our village is poor, no RDP houses, no houses, no water, no tar road. Everything is rotten and I know that we deserve the same treatment as others.
Morning Vuyo & Leane... I am former citezen of Pietermaritzburg, which is my home town, I am very sadened by the current state of the city, its filthy (looiks like its not being mantained at all), the city pavements have open dug-up trenches which are not secured, grown grass & weeds. In a nutshell, the Capital city of KZN is in a bad shape!!! Can a Premier and a Mayor of Pietermaritzburgcomment on that!
Vuyo I entered the jazz festival competiton yesterday and won...which meant I had won double tickets for this weekends jazz festival. Later on I got a call from Phila who changed the rules of the competition now saying I will only get one ticket which is against the very same rules of the competition. It is clear that I am taken for a ride here and please intervene as am not gonna let this lying down. B Manzi 0844347639
Mr Mbuli I leave in Dawn Park where comrade Chris was gunned-down. There is nothing done to remember him like the likes of Tsietsi is remembered in soweto. His house has been sold, no events no nothing. I feel a lot could be done but he was not an ANC?
Blade, your continual blaming the past government is beginning to wear thin now. What is needed is action. Take responsibility, create an enabling environment both within government, by ensuring that people irrespective of race are employed, and the private sector by relaxing many statutes relating to employment and taxes. Another issue is that of ridiculous salaries earned by senior officials at all levels of government e.g. Mayors and Town/city managers who are non-productive.
hi vuyo and leann i was very happy about todays show specialy the minister but can i ask i got learnership on 2010 by department of arts and education but we didn't finish the coures because of setta they say department of art &culture so i was wondering if u can ask sett in matter like this what do i do i love learning i don't have money and i realy love to complete my studies pleace pleace guys help me i realy need this
I agree with Pres Zuma. I live in the beautiful suburb of Hillcrest Kzn. I am privileged to help at a couple of crèches in Molweni, our local 'Township'. These children are amazing, I love them. And, yes, there is a sort of No Mans Land between us and them and it is exactly as Pres Zuma says. Every week when I cross that line, I feel sick in my stomach. I have grandchildren the same ages as these children but they are living on a different planet. I would like to invite all Hillcresters to meet these amazing children and see for themselves that Townships are not dangerous places but full of wonderful, loving, very bright kids. And Apartheid is like the devil, still alive and kicking in South Africa.
Dear Vuyo
What is so extraordinary about Dali being attacked on a beach in PE. This IS South Africa. Now a days people are being attacked while braaing in their own homes. Besides paying armed security to keep us safe, most husbands do neighborhood night patrols. The crime stats are fictitious. We have to live in self made jails to imitate a sense of safety> it is unnatural and extremely stressful to live the way we do in South Africa, constantly afraid of being attacked in our own homes, shopping or even trying to relax at a beach or park. In a time period of 6 months I was hi jacked at gunpoint, my house was robbed and my vehicle was stoned. Is this normal? This country is being handed over to the criminals, with our government giving them amnesty, the judges passing laughable sentences. Government need to realise that we the people pay their salaries, they are supposed to serve and protect us. There are a lot of good leaders in government but how are we supposed to put our faith in them when we see corruption go unpunished, criminals set free and crime increasing?
Regards
Lee-Ann

Dear vuyo and leeann to Play you out, you guys never have Indian artist in studio, you do not research and find out how to source them you do not create a balance. You stick to one type of programming that is sickening, and you have the same vibe. Bring on some of the wonderful indian artists, in Durban who are flying high.
Hi,
I watched morning live this morning and was encouraged to report a similar incident that took place on the morning of 13 March 2013.I was walking along Broad St in Durban city center at about 11 am and noticed a SAP police man chase a man. They were running at very fast. The policeman tripped the man and the man fell to the ground hitting his face onto the tarmac. The policeman then dissappeard. The next minute a mob surrounded the man.All were men. They kicked the man`s face, punched him, jumped on him,hit him with the stick and even dragged him.I was so overcome with emotion and so I ran towards the scene, risking my very own life I told the men to stop what they were doing. To my surprise they stopped beating him.The man got up and walked away.
I want to know what has become of our justice system.
Dear Vuyo
It saddens me that this beautiful religion of Islam is made out as something negative and as you always report "radical" in the media. Why do you never use the words "radical Christians or Jews or Hindus" in the way you report the news?
Violence happens all over the world.
Islam also preachers the universal principles of peace, love and harmony just like all the other religions.
It is because of the media that people fear Islam and it's followers!

minister its Charlie brown here from Goldfield Griqua council affiliated under the Khoi-San. I just want to know whether we figure within the job creation plans of black people. According to our countries constitution we are black and when it comes to equity we falls under brown people. Our experience are based on observations done within the freestate province that when it comes to the real cake in the other provinces then we are excluded. Is it because of the big totals of bruin mense in the western cape that they are not giving us the oppertunities as our black brothers and sisters are receiving especially in the Government departments.
Vuyo/Leanne watching Rev Jessie Jackson interview I noticed him talking about the ;Lack' of Business opportunity to Black People...what about the SA Textiles Workers Pension Funds of R 400Million handed to a 'Connected Black Bus.man and he's Wife 'to administer.....they're gone so is the 'Funds' Now yesterday the fund had to receive a R 200Million boost to Pay out "Lowly earned textile workers" ...That's mostly the reason why us Black and in my case PDI

Challenge to ALL South Africans
50+ million South Africans are waiting for change. When Apartheid fell, South Africa became a multi cultural society, offering freedom to all. The world expected change which did not come.
Today, South Africa is still Apartheid South Africa, serving white expectations. Rich blacks live between rich whites in white suburbs, and poor whites live in black squatter camps. Discrimination is between the rich and the poor, squeezed into white towns and cities, only designed for the white population. We are trying to put 50 million citizens into a taxi, designed to take only 5 million.
For 300 years, the infrastructure of South Africa was build around the expectations of one race, one sexuality, and one culture. Towns were designed by Christian white men, thinking of Christian white men only. Pretoria was not designed for Zulus or Muslims, but for an Afrikaans Christian heterosexual culture.
We can change the name of Pretoria, but the soul will always represent the culture which created it.
If we want to break free from the past, we have to destroy that which represents the past. If we live between ghosts, we will always be haunted by ghosts.
Apartheid will always be our ghost as long as we serve the structures which house the ghost.
WHY NOT BUILD A BRAND NEW SOUTH AFRICA?
Imagine how many jobs we are going to create, if all NEW cultures have to design and build their own towns and cities.
If 50 million South Africans each lay 10 bricks a day, how big will our cities be after 1 year?
We can be just another generation, laying bricks on the foundation of apartheid, or we can be the generation who laid bricks towards a NEW South Africa, the foundation of a free society for ALL
In 2015 we can still struggle to provide all citizens with jobs, or we can be living in a new place, designed and build by us.
We have all the building material needed in South Africa. We can turn the Kalahari into a glass factory, building towns with glass.
HOUSES ARE BUILD WITH BRICKS, NOT MONEY
If the economy provides all cultures with food, temporary housing, bricks, cement, and all other building material, who needs money to build a town?
Money is not our obstacle, planning, coordination and commitment is.
Imagine the impact on nation building if all South Africans of all sexes, sexualities, races and languages are building together on a better place for all of us.
We can bring change to the world by changing our world.
WE WILL BE THE LEADERS OF THE WORLD, LEADING ALL SEXES AND SEXUALITIES TO A SOCIETY OF EQUALITY FOR ALL. WE WILL BRING PEACE TO THE WORLD.
When the world expected a racial war, we gave them a nation, full of hope for a better world.
We are destined for greatness
A society of differences, united as cultures
One Government, representing cultures
One Economy focussed on the expectations of cultures
One religion of LAW and Order, serving all sexes and sexualities

Hi Vuyo and Leanne
Why is South African Government being so unfair to other people? Why is our government giving preference to the youth only not to every citizen of this country? Only private sectors does not consider age. When they speak of human rights are they not also referring to people over the age of 35? We all participate in the elections in our country and where does that leave us? Its not only the youth that put a mark on a ballot paper, its a right to every citizen to vote hoping for a better change in our country. How do we gain experience of the job one might be applying for? Its not everyone who have the luck to get employment in his or her early age. This does not make me happy at all since I am one of the unemployed citizens in our own country.
I don’t know about the government strategy, I have 3 concept that needs to be developed and I’m still looking for funding after two years still I haven’t found anything any. They need 15% contribution how am i going to do this out of nothing. Think concept will employ about 5000 to 10000. Citizens are solution our government is our problem

Good morning Peter, good job with the business news. Is it possible for you to do a segment on Binary Options online trading, and the various trading platforms such has the 60 second trading option etc, and how viable it is? Also if there are any regulated platforms, and are there any South African companies doing this. Thanks.
Dear morning live presenters
Just to comment on the article in Monday's news paper 'The Times' .
I'm a qualified remedial teacher and have been teaching for 25 years in a public school. I am sick and tired of these so called 'researchers' generalising. Why don't they name these 'clueless teachers/schools'.
The main reason learners struggle with reading especially in public schools is due to the lack of being taught in their home language. Parents feel their children must be taught in english although they don't even speak english at home.
In most cases you as the educator needs an interpreter to explain to learners what to do, so until the Department of Education changes the language of instruction policy and the teacher learner ratio we will encounter these problems.
Kind regards
To allocate bursary and l feel like if you can organise your morning live crew and came to us so dat our greviences can be heard by the whole country maybe we can get help from our country. Dear Vuyo
My son is in prison because of stealing to buy drugs(nyaupe) . I thank God that this has taught me to handle this challange with care. God made me to put in myself in my son's shoes . This was through going back the memory lane. Sometimes the things our children go through create a void in their lives. E.g. divorce, fighting in front of them, gossiping etc are some of these little things that with time cause cracks on the this (house) youth life then later the house crumbles down. Family values should be revisited at this stage.
I like what the youth league president said "Education and Employment or we can say Entrepreneurship skills". I would add Family values.
I would like to advise parents to do introspection regarding the upbringing of the child at stake. For instance I have diagnosed my son's problem it happened during my marriage with his step father. I was ignorant and will not blame my late husband or myself because I was not educated on how to deal with this. I understand there are so many parents who are having such a problem at this stage. So I am in a position to help parents out there.
to the community I would advise them to go back to the saying that says it takes a village to raise a child. By God's grace I was able to help now ex drug dealer by having the attitude of ' it takes a village to raise a child. I went to the boy with attitude of helping him because he is destroying more people. I had to look beyond the boy, see the boy through God's eyes, see him in the future after being helped.

Good Day
I would like to suggest a topic on Saving for your retirement. As a Board member of Telkom Retirement fund and managing about 30 Billion investments, i took it to task to educated people especially youth that every cent count and it is for their advantageous to save while they are still on the youth age which we take it less important. I will be traveling Singapore and china in two days time to explore their strategy and meet asset managers. I would really appreciate if morning live can come on board and educate South Africa about the importance of retiring financially healthy. I can be contacted on lehabea@telkom.co.za
Regards
Alfred
I have decided to stop watching Morning Live. These boring "Business Breakfasts" that you broadcast in conjunction with the Government/Gupta's propaganda newspaper, 'The New Age', had become too much to bare. I fell asleep in front of the TV with my face in my porridge this morning. These discussions are always just talk with no action afterwards. Therefore pointless. Politics, politics, politics.... Really guys?
You have lost me to Dagbreek on KYKNET as they at least have interesting and more meaningful interviews. Even if it is in Afrikaans.
Regards.
May Vuyo's children, family and friends find comfort in da Almighty God! LeeAnne, I can just imagine what u r going thru, I just luvd how u related wit Vuyo, how he tried so hard to teach u Afrikaans nd oder African languages. May God give u strength as we all mourn his death. Vuyo will b dearly missed.. Doreen Segoje,
Vuyo Mbuli will be dearly missed...My mornings are never going to be the same again without seeing his smiling face greeting me as I begin my day. May his soul rest in peace and may the almighty bestow his richest blessings on vuyo's family through this tragic time. Don't give up hope Leanne, his memory lives on through you and the rest of the morning live crew. Nakova Ramnath-Durban
I salute to a great man "Vuyo Mbuli" his death pains us all. he was indeed one of the fewest man in South Africa who understood clearly what it means to be a man, who understood so crystal that a respect is earned by a man not demanded, we constantly ashamed by amadoda who pulls us all down to the mud by misbehaving in many ways, to all the men in South Africa who are left behind may we all observe an example to follow, lets love, care and protect because Mbuli it what he ever lived for. What he was in his private life, it what he was to his public life. We give thanks to the family for raising him in a manner that advantaged us all YES he never brought embarrassment to the family. We give thanks to the HEAVEN for having produced this great tree for South Africans to feed themselves with love and care and his footsteps will remain forever for generations to come and follow them. To the family PLEASE consult ISAIAH 40: 30-31. "Even youths shall faint and be weary, and youth men shall stumble and fall, but those who waits on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not weary, they shall walk and not faint” you’re with our prayers in this time of pain. Hi Andile, Please do not be controlled by your emotions. People are emotional because they feel sorry for themselves, because they cannot change what has happened. And now that I've got your attention, please tell us what the weather forecast is for "The Western parts of the country" in stead of "West of the country"! We want to know what our forecasts are, not those of the oceans!
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The New King James Version.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
The New King James Version. 1982 (2 Co 5:20-21). Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
