America’s Got Talent will showcase the hottest performers from across the United States Of America, with the winner being chosen by the television viewing audience. Each week, the show features a colourful array of hopeful future stars -- singers, dancers, comedic performers and unique acts of all ages who have a chance to strut and perform in front of a panel of celebrity judges.

The preliminary auditions took place in Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. These were followed by the call backs in Las Vegas and resulting in the top 20 being voted in to the semi finals by the viewers.
