Popular daily agricultural television programmes AgriTV and Ulimo have joined forces in 2008 to form one dynamic television programme - Agriculture Today. This programme includes aspects from both shows and will focusses on educating and informing all farmers.
Agriculture Today addresses current issues in the sector and focuses on value adding to the business of agriculture, while assisting small holder farmers with practical information on how to go about daily farming practices.
Feedback from viewers is encouraged and they are able to communicate this via sms and e-mail. A telephone line giving contact details for inserts featured in Agriculture Today also makes it easier for the farmer to access relevant information and network with agri organisations in the sector.
Thabo Mdluli and Mariëtta Kruger are the presenters of the show.
Thanks sabc2 for the show agritv .i have a concern as youth am strugling fanancial to start a farm.while i go for funding they said they fund group project ,which is hard to work with someone who is not self motivated. right now i don't know where to go
