African Wild Dogs are intelligent, highly social and efficient hunters who once ranged throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Today they’re the most threatened carnivore in South Africa. And in Tembe Elephant Park, a pack of wild dogs has been detained in a boma for over a year! The reason? Conflict and miscommunication between the human parties involved. Ashmund investigates the fate of these wild dogs in KwaZulu-Natal.
Throughout Africa’s temperate regions, a most mysterious creature slinks through the undergrowth. Neither badger, bear or even racoon, the African Civet is the star of the show in Wonderwêreld.
